We spoke to celebrity stylist and jewelry/style expert Michael O Connor who gave us the LD on this Sundays event. With the Oscars being one of the most formal of all awards shows, Michael says to expect darker jewelry tones. Platinum and diamond jewelry reminiscent of the elegance of Jackie Onassis and Grace Kelly will also be something will be seeing on our favorite stars.

Michael also expects the celebrities to be sparkling from head to toe as they been creative adorning their hairstyle with jewel ornaments like what Rose Byrne did during the Golden Globes putting a platinum and diamond bow pin by Neil Lane as a barrette.
