Actors, designers, models and celebrities stepped out for the Costume Institute Gala to celebrate the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Oscar de la Renta, the designer, posed with Oprah Winfrey, one of the hosts of the evening.
